Reminds me of the old saying, "A fool and his money are soon parted" which regrettably I often think to myself at the times I've felt I went overboard on my Transformers spending.

So... I've never played this game, is it really that good? Like six figures good??

 

I think it’s just like any other mobile game. It was fun at first but soon got really grindy and stale. I stopped playing a little while back.

 

It really, really isn't. Not as bad as Battle Tactics and its flat-out cruel percentage drops, but definitely not worth playing if you want to get anything useful.

 

Maybe not to this degree, but spending lots on these mobile games isn’t all that surprising.

There was a guy in our Forged to Fight alliance family who informed us his wife was demanding he quit the game after he plunged himself into debt after he racked over $20,000 on in-game purchases.

It also wasn’t uncommon to hear of top alliances in FTF spending thousands a month on the game just to stay higher on the leader boards. Some alliances even required it.

 

This is why I'll never play mobile games.

 

That's like 250 Unicrons! That's as many as twenty-five tens. And that's terrible.

 

Give the MP line another three years and $150,000 will also be about right for six figures.

That said, I didn't spend $150,000 on my house.

 

If you're gonna do something stupid with your money, at least offer some to me.

From talking to a big mobile game dev, majority of people who spend this kind of cash on games come from the Middle East.

 

And my parents bitch about me spending between $100-200 per month on my hobbies like it's a problem. They're lucky that I don't particularly like mobile games.

I mean, Dubai alone makes Las Vegas look like a one stoplight town. The amount of money that moves in that part of the world...I just don't understand it myself. I know it's largely fossil fuels but...how goddamn many people are in that industry that it seems like everybody is filthy rich?!
