Just wanted a thread to address stickers and your opinions about them. The funny thing about opinions is that everyone has one, so let's respect each others and try to keep it positive. I know there are about 2 or 3 companies out there that address the transformers' fans needs like Eness or Reprolabels, so whatcha got? Pictures are welcomed and encouraged!

    1. What is the best set you have or have yet to get? This set make your bot(s) or alt-mode(s) totally seem new!

    2. What is the worst set you have or will never ever get? This set makes the figure(s) looks worse, or "meh" at best.

    3. Are you looking forward to stickers for a particular figure? These stickers have yet to come about, but this is a "no duh" move for a sticker company.

    4. What is the best STICKER?...as in singular. You bought or will buy this set just for that one sticker within it.

I'll try to start this thing off...

    1. Maketoys Green Giant...[IMG]

    2. I really don't have a figure that I didn't, at least, mind the stickers....I just put #2 there for those who did....I heard alot of people didn't like the Quadruple U set though...

    3. Maketoys Trash Talk and Cogwheelz need some stickers...they are already awesome figures, but why not add?

    4. Warpath's Arcee pic....[IMG]...this was tough because of Orion's window stickers

I find it an expensive enough hobby without putting a lot of money into stickers, as awesome as they do look.

I was wondering, what's the best site/price/option for sheets of various size generic Autobot and Decepticon logos?

It depends on the look your going for with your Third Party Robots. My favorite sets are for Hercules and Uranus that make them more G1. But, there are plenty of figures where just faction symbols suffice, like M3.

I love the Reprolables sets for Metroplex and Orion. I originally purchased the Orion set mostly for the windows, but ended up not using the window stickers as they looked too cartoony to me in person. Can't really say much about any other sets, as those are the only two I own. I highly recommended the faction symbols form Reprolables though.

as for #2, the fail category, this set from mech ideas doesn't do much for turning your jazz into a shockwave/blast....head and gun are nice, but stickers could've used some work....[IMG]

The only stickers I like are the faction symbols for 3rd party figures. I don't like any other, I think the figures always look busy enough as is and adding any sticker will just make them look worse.

For my money the best sticker set I ever got was the Reprolabels Hothouse set. It turned that questionably colored U.S. Powerglide into a completely different character (even if the reds on the stickers are way off).

I have bought a couple sticker sets for figures. I got the set for grapple and while I thought it added much needed detail after they were a applied, you really couldn't even tell.

Now IMO the best set repro has ever made is the classics set for MMC Leo Dux. Absolutely outstanding. The gold chrome just seems to shine and while shining on its own bringing out details about the rest of the figure. [IMG]

My absolute favorite recent stickers have been Ocean Labels white outline stickers (see quoted post from the Scoria thread about them). I've applied them to Huff, MMC Predacons, and MP Soundblaster's red window, and they look almost exactly like factory tampographs when applied.

My favorite set so far is the one for RTS Perceptor. Not only does it make beautiful reference to G1 in bot mode, it also makes him into an Arctic research vehicle. So,science.

Yo is this an actual sticker you can buy? Like is it a Reprolabels thing or did you make it?

Because that's hilarious and I kinda want it.

Same here - After going through the various Eness/Ocean sets, I really prefer the transfers over stickers for that reason. I'm probably just too picky, but stickers don't blend in well to me. I like the painted on look so much better:

Yes, that's the Reprolabels Classics Warpath set if I remember right.

most of the repro labels sets look good imo, except for maybe the facemask kind of sticker thats supposed to sit on top of a sculpted piece of plastic.

sometime in the future Id like to see some stickers for maketoys trashtalk and cogwheel, as well as fansprojects glacial bots
