Released today on XBLA are some of Sega's classics for the Mega Drive (or Genesis for those inclined)

Xbox LIVE Marketplace | Phantasy Star II

Xbox LIVE Marketplace | Altered Beast

    Xbox LIVE Marketplace | Shinobi

Xbox LIVE Marketplace | Comix Zone

Xbox LIVE Marketplace | Sonic The Hedgehog 3

    And a very special addition:

Xbox LIVE Marketplace | Gunstar Heroes

Grabbed Sonic 3 and Gunstar Heroes myself.
Both have the added bonus of On-Line Co-Op, while Sonic also has a local and on-line versus mode

And all have the wonderful achievements totalling 200 points

fuck knows, as much as I would love to play Phantasy Star 2 and be rewarded achievements I'm not buying it again.

Gunstar Heroes i've already purchased on my Wii but its certainly the stand out title from that list.

Yeah I was going to post about this but I couldn't find my original Gunstar Heroes thread because I'm a dumbass.

Gunstar Heroes today for 360 and Tomorrow for PS3....Heaven has been reached. Forgive the notion, but I am going to play the living fuck out of this game. So it has online coop??? Saweet! Saving the world with Cole will have to take a lil' break, as being the true hero and killing hundreds upon hundreds of men dressed in red and blowing up everything in site will take major precedence.

So how much was this again?

400 MS points for each game.
No idea how much they will be on PSN

Ports, with added stuff like on-line co-op.
I think they are run through emulation.

I should also point out that you can buy them from the XBox Marketplace on those links so they are ready to download once you start your console at home.

400 space bucks or $5 in existing monies.

Bought some points last night (go Amazon's instant codes) to get Sonic 3. Kind of want Comix Zone but I have the Genesis Collection. Gunstar Heroes is dependant on if my friend gets it or not.

5 bucks is beautiful. I was worried about 10 bucks, but I was hoping they'd be smarter than that.I have like 6 bucks in PSN sitting there. That's one thing I do like about PSN. You pay for what you see (for anything up from 5 bucks), you don't have to pay extra bucks to add up to the points required, which sometimes makes you spend another 4-8 bucks to get the 100 points you need, which is butt if you ask me.

$5 is the right price for these. I like that people have the option to only get 1 or 2 if that's all they want, or they can spring for the Ultimate Genesis/Mega Drive Collection if they want more. I have the UGC, but I might pick up Shinobi at some point down the road if the achievements seem fun. Also Gunstar Heroes is a given since it's great and also not on the collection.

Hey Kid, don't forget that Shinobi is on the collection as an unlockable. No Achievements that I know of, but it's there.
