So I've been in Japan for 2 years and next week I'll be moving to Germany. Before I do I thought I'd share a pair of pics from my favorite shop, a Mandarake Special in Nakano. Normally they don't allow pics but the manager has been really cool with me in the past and he let me snap a few. Enjoy

What kind of shop is that? A toy store? A hobby store?

Are those Transformers legit or KO?

    How are the prices?

Just curious. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Mandarake = winning. Got me a G1 MIB Raiden 100% complete when I was at one of their Tokyo stores last year. Good times.

I've heard a lot of good things about Mandarake. Only downside is you have to be quick in getting what you want or it's gone before you know it. :(

^^yes to all the first questions. FYI it's a chain of Japanese hobby shops which specializes in niche markets for 'Otaku'. Manga Anime and the works. TF's there are pretty decently priced, but obviously vintages are priced higher. Hope that might answer you queries, dude. :)

Would be cool, but the pictures are blurry and it's difficult to discern what is what.
