I want the leader Grim to have a few of his key sayings from the movie in bot mode and a massive T-Rex roar in Dino mode when you push the talk button that every leader toy has.

That would be awesome, or have a Trex roar in Trex mode and then talk in robot mode like saying "Me Grimlock". I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really want a Leader Class Grimlock, it would make sense if the movie revolves around him just like Sentinel Prime, but the Fallen was focused on Movie 2 and he didn't get a Leader Class figure.

I'm digging Optimus - he looks younger, streamlined, and more agile. The triple smokestacks give him a nice profile, and the round shield makes him look like a Spartan, which is totally badass.

I can't really comment on Grimlock since it's just his head, but he looks okay. I just hope they give him his G1 colors.

Comparing Optimus with Grimlock in the picture, you think that will be the actual size? Remembering that Grimlock is bigger than Optimus in the cartoon, but Scientifically a Trex would probably be smaller than Optimus.

The way OP looks now on those pics, it's like TFP (without the details that makes it look "real world"). And that body (minus the head) can be any new character, had TFP extended its story post-Earth.

And that body structure looks so much like the Ancients from TFP.

Still fixated at TFP, I guess... and the upcoming TF4 hasn't really sunk in yet.

If they go by real life T-Rex skeleton sizes the average T-Rex found is 13 to 15 feet tall and up to 30 foot from head to tail. But the largest found averages up to 20 foot tall and were up to 40 feet long from head to tail. So If they go with real world T-Rex sizes, in Dino mode Grim should not be as tall as OP but his length is where most of his Bot mode bulk will be. Optimus was 28 foot tall in the last movies and by the look of his new design, he might be a bit taller this movie. So if they want Grim to be believable in his Dino mode, there is no way a 15 to 20 foot tall and up to 40 foot long T-Rex should turn into a truck.

I was thinking about something else about Grimlock's Trex mode, I wasn't thinking about him being the truck anymore, at least I hope it's not if the tail actually extends like a car antenna.

I actually really love this aesthetic. It's more consistent, I think, than the designs of the first trilogy.

I love these designs. Hopefully Hasbro redeems themselves and makes better toys, especially for Optimus

Optimus looks a little... off. Like he's wearing a poncho and super giant, hanging knee pads that are way too big for him.
    Bumblebee looks slick.
    Grimlock looks okay, but generic.

Hopefully they will all look better with the super high-quality CGI in the movie, and I'm pretty sure they will.

I bet Prime's giant-sword and shield are some kind of symbolism for becoming a better Prime or something, since Sentinel had those. Cue the "oldest living Prime must have a sword and shield" jokes.

    Grimlock doesn't look too bad.

What do you mean what's with the sword and shield? He had a sword and shield last movie.

I just can't wait for the first time Grim does roar in the movie and Dino
Slobber flys out of his mouth. I really hope they give the Dinobots and mainly Grim some true realism like this. I want to see him chomp down on a Con and spit drop out as he chews lol
