Well the thing is lots of people never heard of those, myself included. You are not going to get a draw based on that. With Marvel you have name recognition with Iron Man, Captain America, etc. and DC you got Batman and Superman. With Marvel you also get great movies.. with DC you get... well Batman.

Heh, they didn't even go for the semi decent ones like Youngblood,Supreme, or Glory. I don't even remember most of these guys.
Though it would be hilarious if they did something like Liefeld's Babewatch crossover in the movies. (Look it up it's as crazy as it sounds)

So a movie about people with giant guns, too many pouches and no feet? With the screen writer of Batman Forever and Batman and Robin producing. How could this go wrong:D :dunce :lol

Ah yes, Goldsman - the visionary writer behind the Schumacher Batman movies, the 90s Lost in Space reboot, the Da Vinci code movies, and the upcoming Transformers cinematic universe.

    I have high hopes.

It basically can be blamed on how well Deadpool did. What people don't understand is Deadpool became a more interesting character after Rob Liefeld left Marvel.
This is the case of someone seeing the box office of Deadpool, then talking with his creator, and finding out he has other characters. But kudos to Liefeld for pulling this off, he's likely the only one who will do well and make money off of this deal.

Heh, I'm sure this guy doesn't really care of these characters ever actually make it in their cinema versions - he still got paid what sounds like well over a million bucks just for the rights. He's laughing either way.

I'm not sure you could even call it a Liefeld comic now, but I'd watch the hell out of a Prophet movie.

Wait, wait, wait, wait. If the chicks in those movies aren't all in high heels and wearing tiny latex/rubber/whatever outfits, always posing in weird angles, and the guys arent bulky as hell with buttloads of guns and buttloads of pouches then these films are doomed.

Well he did get Alan Moore to write some stories for him, but this wasn't for any of the characters listed in the options.

    Love the thread title.

Also, most of the jokes have been made (I wonder if they'll CGI all the women so you can see their breasts and butt at the same time), but I also had the thought some time ago that an Alan Moore inspired Supreme would be pretty cool and force WB to treat Superman better.
