I stared up a social group for the local collectors in my area and have a couple of questions. Under group type there are three options: Public, Moderated, and Invite Only. Public and Invite Only are self explanatory, but what is the Moderated type? Also the format for the social groups is different for the rest of the forums: new messages appear at the top of the page and you can't quote previous post. Is there a way to change that or is the only option for social groups?

 

I believe moderated requires approval of every post by the group owner before it appears on the page. I may well be wrong, however.

 

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think that it. That is listed under "group options" as "messages must be approved by owner".
