    Id have to go with Ironhide. The names are too close plus ironhide new prime for a long long time.

    Dion got rebuilt into Wheelie. Prime expressly requested Alpha Trion do this because Dion always used to hit on Ariel.

    In the DW comic, Magnus was the head of Security Team Dion, and it was listed as an Easter egg in the TPB, Magnus being rebuilt into Dion. So I've always just accepted it was Magnus.

    Pretty much this. I'd like him to be Ultra Magnus, but since the Ultra Magnus character wasn't created at that time, I'm gonna assume that he gets reformatted into Ironhide.

    I wouldn't choose Ironhide. Because Ironhide got shot again by Megatron in the movie. And that would just be bad karma.

    I'd choose Ultra Magnus, only because Dion couldn't deal with that right now, and neither can Ultra Magnus.

    you do know that Dion spelled backwards is "No id?" as in no identification. I wonder was that done on purpose.
