Hasbro finally has done it and given us a voyager class Generations Springer! Who here is cancelling their orders, or selling if you already have one, when it comes to Defender? It would seem crazy to spend $120.00+ now on that thing!

I'm selling mine tonight. It is a first release with the Reprolabels upgrade kit.

Selling a few items actually. I need $1200 to cover all of the 3rd party items I want this year and $300 (as of now) for Hasbro's.

AMAZING TIME TO BE A FAN

Never underestimate the demand from a rabid fandom for FansProject offerings.

That said, I do have an extra MISB Warbot Defender that I had planned to sell all along soon (thanks to getting the Warbot set from the FPC Web site along with Steel Core and Assaulter). I still plan to keep my opened Defender as I like the mold and likeness of the character though.

I'm keeping mine. It's still a great figure at the end of the day. I'll just display it with the rest of the Warbot figures.

I thought about selling mine. But honestly the only mode im crazy about on the hasbro release is the car mode. It looks great but i dont like the copter or robot mode more than the defenders so i think ill be keeping mine

A part of me wants to sell it because an awesome version is coming out.

A part of me wants to keep it because I am an FP collector as well.

I will most likely keep it.

I like mine a lot, no chance I will be selling him anytime soon.

I'll probably sell my Defender eventually, but I think I'll just hold off for awhile until the upcoming rush on selling them dies down.

It's not fair (to me anyway) to decide so soon. No one has really held the Hasbro version. I need to get it in hand and see how it looks with the other CHUG movie characters and also with the Wreckers.

I also need to compare the molds. The new Hasbro Springer has an amazing head sculpt, but doesn't appear to have a waist, which I view as a near-necessary point of articulation.

Definitely need some side by side comparisons before making a hasty decision.

Is that wise? The closer Springer is to release, the lower the demand for Defender will be.

Why would I sell Defender to buy a cheap plastic KO of him?

Not selling mine, but I won't be using it on the main display anymore once I get Hasbro Springer.

The new Springer is boss; Hasbro definitely delivered on one of my favorite Autobots!

That said, I'm still keeping my Defender displayed with my Classics Autobots. I'm not really sure where this Voyager Springer is going to fit in with my collection, but I've got a year to figure it out.

Generations Springer and Defender are totally different styles of toys. I don't think Springer is "better" - not just because I have two (one loose one boxed). Springer is a better "value" because it'll be like $20, and it'll be a pretty good representation of the IDW version, so I may get it . . .

. . . but you're comparing a $20 toy with an $80 one. If you were gonna buy Defender, you had the cash to buy both, and if you were gonna buy Defender, you're probably an FP fan.

The only people affected are those that think one design is truly better than the other and cannot afford Defender.

So wait, we can only have one toy for each character now? I guess I have to sell about 70 primes, 20 rodimus, 10 thrust, 15 soud waves, 12 shockwaves, 18 grimlocks... On second thought I will get 3 of the Hasbro springers and display with my 3 defenders.
