Like Starscream turns him into a cyborg scientist whose stuck in a wheelchair and then.... he's never seen again. Was there plans for him to show up later that never materialized? I know it was a 80s character, but you have to wonder.

I'd assume that he dies sometime between Season 2 and the movie. He was most likely a senior when he first shows up so he'd probably die of natural causes before 2005.

There is a retcon where he builds Alternators Nemesis Prime during that time, though. I'd search TFWiki for more info but the website seems to be down right now.

Arkeville was one of things that gave a dark tone to S1 ,and even the darkest, his first cyber appearance scared me a lot! S2 should have had also more episodes on this tone. For me if is dead is by accident, because those implants should, at least ,give him a lifespan of 150 years :D  .

My guess is that he kicked the bucket in a high security prison.

He's just sitting in a storage room along with Starscream's other unfinished projects. Even after Beast Machines, Arkeville is still in that damn storage room.

Because of all his cybernetic upgrades, I'd like to think he's still alive and kicking well into his 100s, retired, and having the time of his life in some hidden lab in the Pacific Northwest dabblng in ultimate doom technologies for fun.

In the Japanese G1 continuity, he’s still alive in 2021.

With each failure, his body was mutilated more and more, as punishment. Until eventually there was nothing left of him but a brain (with an eyeball) in a jar.

That's my all time favorite show. But what happened to Baxter throughout was really disturbing.

Well, judging by some of the posts here, he apparently went on to teach Mr. Freeze, how to become Spider-Head.

It was such a great show. It's a shame that Nickelodeon won't either give it a proper DVD series release or finish releasing the seasons digitally.

Look for the JP story of Legends. He makes an appearance in the back story. Same with Binaltech.
