I'm hopefully expecting Monstructor in 2024-25. Probably 6 core class figs over the course of a year, packed with fists, feet, etc that double as something they can use as individuals. Deluxe class would be nice to put him eye to eye with the other non-titan combiners, but It seems less likely they'll be willing to allocate all those slots. They won't have shells, but I could see a third party with a talented sculptor nailing that down for us. Those wild monster designs realized with modern detail & posability would be so awesome.

The molds would allow for a selects Dinoking soon after, maybe with a different head & hands styled after his appearance in Victory.

Besides Monstructor/DK, I wouldn't be surprised if Superion is announced for next year, being Menasors counterpart. But of all the Combiner Wars Gestalts that could use a redo, Computron would top my list. The US CW version really drew the shortest stick on resources allocated & source fidelity.

 

Dinoking's already slated as a partial of Volcanicus, but I get the feeling that Monstructor would be a new thing altogether.

Well, Combiner Wars added a 6th to all the 5-member combiners. But lots of people don't care for the change (part of why the Unite Warriors sets from Takara sell for so much even today). Up to you, really, whether you think 5 is complete or 6 is.

 

Either these: Superion, Defensor, or Bruticus. There could be a SS86 Devastator since he appeared in the movie.

We heard that Menasor was a test to see how sales went, and, anecdotally, it seems like a wild success, as the Stunticons were all the most in demand figures in Legacy. So I would assume they're going to do another set, as for who that is? Who knows? Maybe Defensor?

My preference in order of my personal collection wants and needs:
1. Liokaiser
2. Landcross
3. Defensor
4. Bruticus
5. Devastator (in scale with WFC, SS86 preferred)
6. Predaking (in scale with WFC)
7. Superion
8. Computron
9. Abominus
10. Piranhacon

Pipe dream, but I'd love it if they were all new molds with limited mold sharing, all in scale to the current WFC-established toy scale. I own all of the UW/CW versions of all of the above (except for Liokaiser), and I'm of the mind that they're still serviceable, with the exception of Defensor and Bruticus. Those two have always been stinkers (Hot Spot/Onslaught mold is just not great IMO), and I'd love better versions of both of them. And while I love UW Devastator, I'd really like a version that scales better with the current lines.

The rest I'm pretty ambivalent about replacing. New versions would have to be super spectacular to get me to replace. Hell, UW Superion, Computron, POTP Abominus and Selects Piranhacon are still great, although I did get the TDW upgrade sets for all of them so that helps since stock they all have issues that bug me.
