So when do you think we will finally get Wave 2 over here? As it has been out in the US for a couple of weeks now, and I'm really wanting that voyager hound!

 

Not even sure. My TRU doesn't seem to be selling AOE toys well at all.

I don't think we ever got past Wave 1 of the Thrilling 30 Generations Deluxes, did we?

 

Good point, at first my TRU sold out on the deluxes apart from Octane bee, and then they got a second batch in, they have hardly moved apart from when i got Scorn. And then they got the voyagers in and they have hardly moved and my TRU is now doing buy one get one half price so i think they trying to get rid of them.

I think anyone wanting the wave one TRU Generation AoE Deluxes and Voyagers will have already picked them up by now. It's like TRU are waiting for the other stuff to shift too, but I doubt it ever will enough to trigger ordering the next wave of AoE Generations.

When you think about it, for many people the UK AoE toyline so far has been just four Deluxes and two Voyagers (the kiddie AoE stuff really doesn't count for many people). For a movie line that's pretty weak.

Fatigue has already set in for me seeing the same AoE stuff week after week, especially when it's stuff I just don't want.

Still, I suppose when TRU do eventually get the new AoE Gen stuff in there'll be a bit of a clamour for it as people get excited over a few new options.

 

I picked up one of those free "Ultimate Transformers Guide" booklets from my local Toys R Us and it lists some of the Evolution packs as coming in mid-July and the Optimus one as September, so hopefully they are planning on keeping new figures coming in the line. It also does have the Deluxe Drift pictured and named, but just in the Generations Deluxe section without a specific release date. Still, at least it's a positive sign...hopefully.

When/if Hound and Galvatron turn up I would imagine you need to be lucky enough to be in the store when they do because on the quantities I've typically seen in my TRU they will not shelf warm. At all.
