He never said he wasn't happy being in the franchise. There were many many articles on how he stated AOE was the most important film of his career.

This quote was blown out of proportion to create clickbait headlines. It read clearly to me that he "got his life back" as in life while not on an intensive movie set for so many months (on a fast paced Bay-Schedule).

 

That part’s obvious. It was more the ‘it’s the last one’ that I was pointing out. Though of course, it doesn’t necessarily mean ‘the last Transformers movie i’m doing’, but that’s what appears to be implied.

 

It was not obvious to the masses and media outlets looking for clickbait. They took it as he hated doing it and wants out.

 

AOE is the great film! It was a breakthrough for Mark Wahlberg, I think. Cade's role is very fresh for him - it is action-based, dramatic and comedic at the same time.

 

Well regardless it wasn’t him saying “I get my life back” that suggested it was his last one but literally him saying “it’s the last one”.

 

I actually preferred the semi-redesigned version of Cade in TLK over the AOE "dad" version of Cade.

 

Looks like Michael Bay is really out this time... I just saw a post that he will be directing a DC film. IF the 2019 TF film will REALLY comes out in 2019 there is no chance of Bay being the Director.

 

I still think the movie after Bumblebee, IF it happens, will be pushed to 2020.

 

Lol at people who still think the 2019 movie is the live action sequel to TLK. Just shows who is smart and who thinks logically versus who doesn't. Cool that Michael is doing more variety of movies, I just hope he starts doing TF after Lobo.

I don't think so. People on here are always speculating this even when evidence hints otherwise.

 

Anyway, the article says that TF6 is live-action and is planned to come out in 2019. It also says it's most likely the sequel to TLK. Remember that they started filming AOE the summer before it was released, f.ex.   And they already has the script.

Just out of curiosity; Are you talking about the animated prequel then you say evidence? Animated movies takes longer to make than live-action.

 

And what exactly is this evidence? I ask because you're saying that an official press release outright stating that TF6 and the animated feature are two separate things, so unless you have Goldner or Lorenzo saying in an interview that TF6 is animated...there's not really any evidence that comes to mind actually supporting your claims here.

The animated movie " tentatively titled transformers one " is totally separate from this.

Transformers 6 Confirmed for 2019, Bumblebee Shoots This August

While continuing to promote Transformers: The Last Knight, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura revealed even more details about the upcoming Bumblebee spin-off, confirming that the production starts in August, while also teasing that Transformers 6 will hit theaters in 2019. Unfortunately, the producer wouldn't say what Transformers 6 will be about yet, but the current plan is to have it ready for a summer 2019 release.

 

That article is from August 2017, the one that clearly states that TF6 and the animated movie are separate things is from last month. Additionally, the Seibertron article doesn't actually say that TF6 = animated. I genuinely don't know where anybody decided that this had to be the case as it's never been said TF6 will be animated as far as I know.

 

Either way I just don't know I tried to find the answer but couldn't not like it matters if it is or isn't.
