    How does going out of your way to use car models that were popular in the late 70's and early 80's make the movie any better? Whats the point. Bitching about what model of car get's used and judging the movie based on that is asinine

    Here's a 'map' which shows the relationship of all the auto manufacturers to each other, it isn't totally accurate now, however, as Porsche now have the controlling stake in VW and Aston Martin are now owned by Prodrive and not by Ford, and Pontiac and Saturn are still shown as active. Still mostly right though.
