Sorry to hear :-( I know it probably wouldn't cover much, but any chance of being able to make a claim under insurance?
Nope. All that remains is a Beast Wars Metals Rampage and my beloved G2 Smokescreen / Dreadwing set. (Ironically, I love that set the most of any of my transformers, save fire convoy). -edit- To clarify, it might be covered by home owner's insurance, but seriously, how much is any of this worth? Besides, I'll never get back the Fire Convoy that I worked so hard to get (before they released him in Canada in TF: RID rotflmao)

Exactly; it's a shame I couldn't have done more. All I have left are some of the pics I took (Picformers.com: The Transformers Pictures Site). Dunno what I:m going to do now that I no longer have transformers to take pics of LOL
Dude, honestly, I haven't seriously collected transformers in such along time; I always thought I'd be able to give my toys to my kids. At the very least I thought I'd give them to charity when I got married. It's just a big hole. Now that I think about it, there was so much history between me and those Beast Wars toys, particularly Rampage. I'm glad I still have a Rampage left (since I kept his toy here in Japan when I went back to Canada to visit my folks)
I am sorry about your parents house, it is always sad when some one loses their home and nearly everything they own.
I'm sorry to hear about your family's home and your collection. Most of what you lost you can get back in time. The one thing that you can't replace (or are unlikely to be able to replace) are pictures I hope your folks' insurance covers more than the home. BTW, where in Japan are you?
OMG...no cracking up. I'm happy to see no human was injured. Sorry about your collection though. Hopefully insurance will cover most of it and maybe some are replaceable. At least everyone is ok. All that plastic! the fumes!
wow impressive collection... sorry for what you lost though but it couldve been worse. toys are replaceable. i'm sure you'll be alright, but, yeah, just looking at it is enough to make me feel bad, (like hitting the back of my car yesterday accidentally on a tree while i was parallel parking and breaking some of the right rear light. so pissed off at myself but sometimes accidents are unavoidable, all we can do is control it and minimize damage.)
I have 1/2 of my collection in storage at any time...due to the fact there just is not room here...losing this stuff would suck...but it can all be replaced...the important and only important thing here is that your parents were ok...
Toy's can be replaced, even the most rare of all. Humans, can not be replaced for they are most rare of all. Glad all of your family is okay.
