We know that Master Collector usually has several exclusives at the GI Joe con other than the ones that come with registration, and that they are surprises not revealed into the convention starts. They've promised a similar setup for Botcon. We also know they've promised an 8th exclusive to pre-registrants who show up at the con. Also, according to this thread at Allspark, the extra exclusives will cost a total of about $100-120. So what would you guys like to see for the surprise exclusives? Realistically, I have a feeling the 8th exclusive will be a repaint of one of the figures from the 7-figure box set. So for that, I'm thinking a Brawn repaint of Fallback, or a Ratchet repaint of Ironhide. For the surprise exclusives, it's pretty much a crapshoot. I would like to see maybe a two pack Thundercracker and Skywarp repaint of the Energon Starscream mold. That wouldn't cost more than $50-60 though, and I've no idea what else could be coming. Anybody else wanna speculate?
Hence this part: I just honestly couldn't even think of anything. But I'm curious to see the suggestions of others.
Energon/Universe/whatever Seacon reissues Blue Silverstreak WSTF Stepper/Ricochet Hot Rodimus from Star Convoy in all black WSTF Dirge and Ramjet? Deluxe sized GF mold of starscream in Thunder cracker and Skywarp colors.. I am running out of ideas here....
Now I'm pretty sure the bonus figure is a Ratchet, seeing as how there's a test shot on ebay. That also leads me to believe the Arcee repaints are for Botcon as well...one for the 7-figure box and the other two available in a two pack.
I'm thinking the other way around...Paradon Medic as the bonus figure and Ratchet sold seperately...lets face it, a lot more of us would plunk down $$$ for Ratchet than for a third Arcee repaint as the Medic...
It looks like that Buzzclaw's set to receive extra repaints as well, or at least one (see my thoughts in the appropriate frontpage thread). It looks as if MC's setting up a separate figure set of some basic molds in the main set. If it's just Arcee(s) and Buzzclaw(s), I'm really not sure if I'd bother getting the set. I'm sure I could scrounge a Buzzclaw, Fallback, or other low-profile figure I'd like from someone else, if need be. Heh, any non-attendee selling their $140 extra set already?
Allright, based on what we've seen, I think we'll see this: Ratchet as the bonus figure. An Arcee repaint 2-pack; one with the same remolded head as an Arcee from the box set, and one with the regular release Arcee head. An Insecticon 3-pack; two Buzzclaw repaints and one Dirge repaint And...something else. Still crossing my fingers for Energon Starscream repaints, but we'll see. EDIT: Could the something else be the other two Cyberjet molds? I think I've read before that they were all on the same mold, meaning if we get one as an exclusive we'll probably get all three. Hm.. Something to think about.
