Given how the human villains were willing to kill anyone involved with the transformers. Were the Witwickys killed prior to this AOE movie or are they still alive somewhere?

We don't know for sure, but I'd say dead as it was obvious to the goverment Sam and his family had a connection with the Transformers.

Hopefully, they were the worst thing about the previous trilogy along with Agent Simmons.

The reason why Attinger was willing to kill Cade, Tessa, Shane and Joshua is that because they are witnesses.

If it is revealed that they are hunting Autobots they are dead men. I take it any Decepticon collaborator in the past four years was declared either a traitor or a terrorist.

As Attinger said he was risking his life just to get his payday. Not only from Lockdown but from the government if they found out he and his black ops unit went rogue.

I guess Bee had to leave the Witwicky's to lead the Autobots. Also they do not know who to trust as from the surface it looked like a government sanctioned op.

I'd like the US and allies reform NEST just to hunt down Cemetery Wind as they've proven themselves as terrorists.

If Sam died, Op should have mentioned it. Sam was a great friend of Prime

I'm sure Bee despite hurting about it left to protect Sam and his family.

Note the Decepticons has taken hostage those he loves twice already.

I think he is alive, as the NEST's soldiers but probably they live at gunpoint and then they can't help Autobots

NEST was disbanded and Cemetery Wind was their replacement.

They are safe as long they have no idea of Attinger doing illegal stuff.

If Epps ever found out that they killed the Wreckers he and his posse of ex-NEST will hunt them down.

No. Unless Bee took shelter in his garage or something.
