...what are the best third person type games for it??

Of course I'm going to pick up the Gears series games and Dead Rising, but what am I missing out being the Sony fan boy I am?

 

Red Faction: Guerrilla
Saints Row 2
Lost Planet 1 or 2
Crackdown 1 or 2
TF War For Cybertron

Some of those are on both but they're my favorite of the third person games.

I've enjoyed the Tomb Raider games as well. Legends is probably the best and least frustrating. Anniversary is incredibly frustrating but I enjoyed it. Underworld was pretty good but had a really poor camera at times.

Edit: As always I shall recommend Viva Pinata, Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, and Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis.

 

I'm a big Lara fan as well, but I already got those games, mate.  

However, Crackdown's one I'm unaware of. Have to look into that.

 

Crackdown 1 and 2 both have demos. They can be hectic fun but don't expect a lot of substance. CD2 is not worth full price but CD1 can be had on the super cheap.

 

Why only third-person?

Arkham Asylum

 

Not really a fan of First Person Shooters.

That's really the only reason why.
