Do you think that in the movie verse that they would bring in Rodimus, or just use Bee?

 

I certainly hope they would bring in Rodimus. While I really enjoy Bee, I personally like him best when he's a supporting, not main, character.

Besides, I don't want to miss out on Roddy's epic snark, bad ideas and immaturity.

What about Ultra Magnus? He's much more mature and a better soldier than Hot Rod.

 

With OP out looking for the "Creators" it's a perfect time for Magnus and Rodimus and maybe 1 or 2 others to show up in the begining of movie 5. Just as its a perfect time to have Skywarp and Thundercracker come in, in movie 5. They can both be killed early on after takin out a bot or 2 and rebuilt and revived by the AllSpark powered Galvatron as his new Cyclonus and Scourge.

 

I like this idea.

I think there's plenty of time to bring Rodimus in, and with Galvatron being an uber Con, it would be great to bring in a couple of classic characters, Magnus, Kup, even Warpath. And I can totally see the whole using old sparks in new shells.

Bear in mind how instantly awesome Hound was and AoE was his first outing.

And the bickering between the Bots should only continue in Optimus' absence which in turn might make for a nice intro for a new part time eader like Magnus or Hot Rod, just to settle things down and then make Rodimus into a Prime.

If they continue with the character interaction/writing style, there could potentially be another five or six brand new engaging, interesting and watchable characters for TF5.

 

Though crosshairs was cool, doesn't strike me as leader material

 

Given the direction the next cartoon series is going, I wouldn't be surprised if Bee ends up leader in TF5.

I hope they wouldn't go that route. I don't want them to ruin Rodimus' character and then make him the main character. Hell, even Galvatron is just Megatron with a new prefix

 

They would never bring in Rodimus Prime to the movie series. Hasbro learned their lesson in 1986 when they did that. People love Optimus too much, as well as Bee. If anything, Bee would become leader, rather than some new guy they bring in at the last second. Rodimus would practically be "The Scrappy" if that happened.

 

Aye thats fair point actually. It would still be nice to see a version of him at some point.

I can't see Bumblebee getting the nod either, in all his variations, he's never been a Prime candidate .. geddit?

Ultra Magnus please, ah go on, just copy '86, give him a run with the Matrix then pull an Empire Strikes Back for TF5 ie, everything goes to shit for the Autobots and have Optimus make his most triumphant return in TF6 [/wishful thinking].

 

As a kid of 80 I hated rodimus so for me it has to be hot rod and not rodimus

I think Galvatron should use the "Transformium" to create his own soulless Decepticons (Cyclonus and Scourge) and they become the Creators new emissaries. The whole time Galvatron would be plotting to gain control of earth or the matrix or something. That would be more interesting I think.

Just a mention.....they could bring in rodimus and Magnus......they could both be part of the set of knights lockdown spoke of especially if it turns out the Dinobots were not them. Could be a prime thing or autobot leader thing either way they all have a history of leading the autobots and if they perhaps somehow worked those two characters into being parts of the knights then they can keep them fresh and new whilst keeping them true to their origins....just a thought i mean in not sure but perhaps rodimus , magnus and could meet up off world and team up etc to fight the creators.
