    21 is the real one. Then you get to drink without using fake ID's and asking people to buy liquor for you. In the meantime you can go be all you can be and vote for the next president.

    LOLZ @ the colonies, you can get pissed up and rent all the cars you want here at 18 (althougth no necessaraly at the same time, except maybe in Ireland).

    Drinking age, schminking age. As if it were anything more than a minor inconvenience anyway. Jesus, by the time I was 21, I was kind of tired of it already. Very anti-climactic.

    You are now legally a grown-up. Now that society recognizes you as an adult, you have gain both new responsibilities and new rights.

    You're new rights include voting, joining the military, buying a fire arm, no longer being required to have supervision, getting married, freedom from your parents, purchasing pornographic material, smoking, being 100% self reliant, removal of many restrictions (but not all, of course), getting respect that minors don't get, purchasing lottery tickets, etc.
