So... Gorilla Arm Syndrome. Also known as curling arm syndrome. Whatever you know it as, it means the same thing: any figure with an elbow joint that only allows for the palm to face up when bent. The most recent and topical example has to be AoE Voyager Grimlock. Some bemoan his arm articulation in this regard, but honestly... Gorilla Arm Syndrome has never really bothered me. Beast Wars Tigerhawk, RID Sky-Byte, ROTF Long Haul, DOTM Shockwave, all figures that suffer from it, but they're all some of my favorites. I suppose I just look at it as a minor posing limitation that simply means I have to pose that particular figure more creatively. But for some, Gorilla Arm Syndrome is a real deal-breaker.
