    There's a line in the movie while they are "programming" the body of Galvatron: "Why does Galvatron look like Megatron" or something to that effect.

    Does Galvatron look like Megatron?

    they're both silver.

    that's about it.

    in comparison to all of the other bots we've seen in the movies, galvatron looks closest to megatron.

    No. But he looks more like megs, then optimus who he was programmed to look like.

    Galvatron's design is loosely based on Megatron even though he had a new head this time

    I remember the folks on this board was trying to say that Galvatron looks like Sentinel Prime.
