Looks good. If the price isn't outrageous and the quality is decent, will definitely be down for this and/or an SG version to support more 3P CHUG. Would love any Decepticon counterpart (Megs, Soundwave, Galvatron) to go with him.

Three questions come to mind with this beauty...
    1. Are the (presumably) open hands designed with 5mm in mind?
    2. How are the hands attached to the arms - peg or balljoint?
    3. Where can I preorder/order one of these? I've been waiting an eternity for this moment.

We don't know and hard to tell, I feel like probably a peg but it could be either or. We should find out tomorrow since a review is coming tomorrow.
No preorders yet but probably most places like TFsource, ChosenPrime, ShowZ, Bombusbee, and others.

Looks like a Super CHUG. It's going for a specific comic design but at the level of a supped up mainline release. There isn't a ton of paint but there is tons of color breakup that keeps the figure interesting. The sculpt is a little mushy and round but but cleans up superbly. It hits all the big points for range and articulation and can fit in with official stuff better than most third party figures.

Honestly it looks like an evolution of Generations I was hoping for back after ROTF. But then everything got hit with the shit-stick in 2012. If the price is right I'm certainly interested.

Love how this looks but is the finish supposed to be this rough?

What's the scale of MMC's Optus Pexus? I assume that figure isn't MP scale right? I wonder how this scales with Pexus?

It's not the plastic. For some reason, the pictures are HORRIBLY compressed. If you look closely, you can see the pixel edges in some of these pictures. I wouldn't judge the plastic until we get cleaner photos.

MMC reformatted stuff isn't really chug. It scales with the odd larger chug figure, but really it's its own scale that tends to be larger voyagers and up. This guy looks to be actually chug/wfc scale, so should be about within a head's range of ER Optimus, though would have to do some comparisons to see exactly

I'll wait for price/reviews as I already have Takara CW Optimus with the Beelzeboss upgrade kit (anyone remembers It?).
I wish this was MP to pair it with Ultra Maxmas.

As much as I love MMC, SND is doing the right thing. Now that Hasbro's paying attention to scale from WfC on 3Ps that do CHUG (and I really hope more 3Ps do CHUG) need to stick to the WfC scale the way 3P MP needs to scale with official MP.

So SND dropped their kits to work on this? I'm cool with that, seems like the natural progression of kit design companies

I've just realized that this is based on Kei Zama's interpretation of Andrew Griffith's design, before they switched to the Evergreen design.

I’d argue they are chug because all their figures should be voyager and up scale wise to fit with the scale

She’d be a tall deluxe. Terminator Arcee was a tall carbot, so basically a lockdown situation where it’s a voyager trapped in a deluxe

The big MMC lads do better among CHUG than their carbots. Pexus and Tyrantron are between typical pre-Siege voyager and typical pre-Siege leader in height (e.g. bigger than T30 Springer but just out-hulked by CW Ultra Magnus).

The troops, however, are pretty much all based around pre-Siege voyager as the default. Works well for, say, Spartan but their carbots are too big for CHUG.
