Less excited for this figure at $80. Now I'll wait until other have him and review him. If he is excellent I'd pick him up. If, like many other 3P release I've seen recently, doesn't have excellent quality I'll pass.

 

I love how $80 for a 3P Voyager Prime is too expensive while NewAge routinely has Legends figures that go for more.

I'm all in. Here's hoping SND does a Megatron, too, since ER Megs is pretty mediocre.

 

I hope SND does a Don Figueroa Optimus Prime like from the For All Mankind TPB I’ll more than likely buy that one.

 

Agreed, LOVE that design so I would buy that especially at this scale.

 

Legends figures (mostly NewAge, but also some Magic Square) are for the most part way overpriced IMO.

 

That’s why you definitely (mainly NA) go to overseas retailers for them, so much cheaper.

 

At the current rates US$80 is about GB£66. Plus delivery. Much as I like the design, that would be too pricey for me to justify at this time (festive energy crisis etc.) Ah well, hest of luck to SND and I hope it comes out looking great

Well, I had already decided to pass on this guy, and after seeing that transformation, I don't regret that decision. Looks like way to many tiny moving panels and hinges, which just seems fiddly and unfun.

I want to like it but it looks more like someone's awesome 3D print project than an actual, retail piece.

Not sure why anyone would rather pay $90, when $80 is already pushing it. Just seems like paying the North American store an extra $10 to be a middle man. But to each their own!

 

I mean if you wanted to go US over overseas sites it isn't that huge of a markup. Either way some might just still be loyal or something and go with TCP anyway.
