One picture for now while I find some more proper pieces to strengthen some connections in the legs. Will post more tomorrow-ish.

    20180929_005814_Richtone(HDR).jpg

Basically I reused some of the old SND Prafaetus kit+gundam parts to construct a leg armor piece to make him that much closer to his comic counterpart. Also removed the rear armor pieces for a slightly leaner backpack.

Replaced his hands with the extra hands from MP Shockwave which I'll never use; more posable, but as of the moment useless as they can't handle the weight of the huge sword the SND kit came with :(  Gonna drip some floor polish in that.

And yes, he does still transform. No more combiner mode tho...but that's not why I like Nova Prime about ;)

    EDIT: Alt mode pics
Some parts ended up in a slightly different position than in planning, so the new cab section now sits higher and further back than I had initially thought it would. Still a passable Nova Prime truck.

    More pics!

Base bot. Messed up the paint on his face so he's kinda had a malfunctioned left optic.

Backpack piece: Drilled 2 holes into the old SND roof piece, glued it onto the Nova backpieces.

Backpack plugged into the 2 pegs. Also reconnected the waist piece.

Ultimate Badassery mode. Not going to give him weapons because a)His wing cannons are already overkill; and b)weak sauce new wrists :p

Really wished SND released this the same time as the Primo Vitalis. I mean, I really liked my IDW Battle Core Optimus, but I was really leaning on to Nova Prime. This even made the Kit better. Awesome work.

DAMN that looks good. Have you considered bulking up the thighs/waist and stuff to fit the overall proportions better?

    Thanks for the comments! :)

The SND kit is already kinda making use of most the space available to fit, so to bulk up the waist/thighs would mean partsforming because any additional parts onthose areas wouldn't fit in alt mode :(

Any tips on turning the stock hands into mushroom pegs? I'm about to pulverize them in favor of KFC black MP hands

Not much. All I did was remove the stock hands and then trimmed the unused MP shockwave hands to fit and glued them on XD. The only thing to sorry about is if the hands fit in that tiny space in alt mode, which I assume the KFC hands would have no problem with since you can bend the fingers freely.

Cool! Did you glue them at the wrist, or did you glue in a peg? I'm hoping to just file these down to a flat-ish level and screw it/glue in a separate mushroom peg, but I don't know where to find said peg.

The MP shockwave hands I used came with pegs, so I just used those on mine.

Hmm. I'm thinking about trying to Frankenstein these on instead of carefully shaving down to a peg. It looks like it might be easier to file them down and screw them in. Need to check if they're the right size for KFC hands.

The thing about this that excites me most is the way this utterly changes the alt mode. This is perfect!

    here you go.

i sacrifice 1 small screwdriver when i try to pry open the hip. why the heck it's glued !!! broke to peg. but since it's using pin the issue is minimize.

hammering the pin is quite easy for both pins, since i have the experience when installling primo vitalis.

seems in many utub video review, i saw many have issue withthe neck join is loose. mine doesnt. but the knee is super weak..... i hope i can design a 3d printed a mechanism where i can lock the knee and make is stable.

of course the wing it self is back heavy. need more attention when posing. but i havent' been able to get a hang on when transforming to space angel truck. seems i have some misalignment and the truck easy to crumble because of it.
