Is there a way to replace a snapped ball joint? Asking for a friend.

Or rather I broke the neck of the figure I was customizing and have many regrets.

Glue ball back on, drill down through it into part it attaches to, hammer in pin.

Yup. I snapped the leg post on my mp01 after he took a shelf dive. Instead of drilling and hammering, I used a torch to heat up a 2mm pin and jam it into the plastic. I repeated that until it was able to go in reasonably deep then I repeated for the other side. Epoxied the leg pieces together with the pin inside and it's solid as a rock now. Drilling would've been quicker but I couldn't find my smaller drill bits at the time.

I also used this method when I was modding Wei Jiang's Arcee - wanted her shoulders to sit in closer to her torso so I cut them, shortened them, then put 1mm pins inside and epoxied it together.
