Yeah it always annoyed me that when it was shown in regular TV Buford got over dubbed by the actor who played Fred Flintstone. Love the quote “Junior When I get home I’m gonna punch your mama in the mouth”.
Was watching the Mandalorian and saw Olyphant's performance I was thinking if they had to do this he'd be a decent choice to play Bandit if they absolutely have to make this even though they shouldn't.
You just won't be able to replace Jackie though. Hell they wouldn't even let the character talk like this in modern day.
