Looking at Arcee and Chromia... I'm having a hard time picturing them combining (unless the net result is also non-humanoid). Is it possible (or even rumored) that there might be smaller versions of them? Possibly with the ability to comine? For one thing, it turns out that only the smallest (Legends scale) versions of the Constructicons will be able to combine... maybe that's the case here, too?
Also, they look really tiny in the trailer when they're chasing Sideways; certainly not as large as him, so why should the only figures of them be? I'd think Scout or even Legends size would be more appropriate, and give us a reasonable shot at a combiner.

We've gotten a listing that suggest we'll be getting a Legends sized Arcee:

    TRA MV2 LEGENDS ARC (6-53569-46322)

While it wouldn't be smaller than a Deluxe, we've also gotten a listing for what could easily be a FAB Arcee:

    TRA FA BATTLRS ARCE (6-53569-45036)

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if we did get smaller versions of the trio that could combine, but at the same time, I can still see the three Deluxe's combining. On a side note, I'm becoming more and more interested in getting the Deluxe versions of the three. They'll be out of scale, but that isn't a problem, imo. Something about their odd look has grown on me.

It'd be useful for scale, but there's already more new mold Legends class in this line than first time around, and we still don't know if they're doing Skids, Mudflap, Volt, Sideways, the Doctor, the Fallen, Soundwave or Ravage in Legends.

Yeah, I'm digging their odd, spindly look too. That potential Legends listing has me feeling very hopeful.
Don't get me wrong, I plan to pick up the deluxes too, it'd just be nice to also have a set thats a little closer to being in scale.

I agree. I fully expect them to combine. If they don't combine, what is their excuse? Three deluxes that combine aren't going to have the kind of drop-test problems speculated about voyager class Constructicons.

Don't forget that Leader class Optimus and Jetfire combine.

I'm all for scale. Curious to see what route they'll head.

Although, deluxe Chromia and Arcee have me way excited for some reason. They're on the top of my list.
