Exactly. This is a weird thread. Especially when you consider that until the around the movie, every toy was from another toy line and had existed in some cases half a decade or more in advance of the show.

Most G1-y Swindle toys leave out his arm cannon.

 

Basically zero Bumblebee toys from RID15 bothered to include the headlamps on his chest except the one Takara repaint of the Minicon Armor Toy.

Masterpiece figures aside, didn't a lot of the original Ark crew display various abilities and weapons that weren't relevant to their toys?

 

Yea because not all of them had models made for their toy weapons and also it was cheaper for characters to shoot lasers from their fingertips and shit instead of holding a gun is something I've read.
