My last member of the original Dinobots, Sludge for the Universe line. He's well an upgraded version of the G1 style, but with my take on it. Well he carries a double barrel blaster that causes earthquakes and knocks opponents on their backs and a pick axe that can cause damage to foes and generate earthquakes as well. He took me from March 31- May 8, 2009 so it was long, but worth it. So please let me know what you think? Update: I finally thought of names for his weapons. His blaster is called Thundershaker and his tail/pick axe is called Ground Quaker.
Thanks. Most of the Dinobots I've done do sport the Classics Grimlock homage so they go really well together. Thanks its more of a weapon than an arm, but thats whatever.
I think I like it. I'd also want to make the dino mode more modern-accurate, and have a non-dragging longer tail. Having just the tip turn into the axe would work too, though I think you might've drawn the weapon form of it just a little too thick. I also like that to compensate for the longer tail, you have them split and folded up behind his back instead of on the legs. My only question is I don't see where those flaps (the traditional ones from the original version) that are the front of the dino torso and flip out on the back are in the robot mode picture.
Redline, I know that my art has flaws and I understand what you're coming from you need to point this out like draw a circle to where you see the problem because the way I did it was combining the IDW Sludge with the original. Also the weapon well you already knew that. So thanks for the constructive criticism. I do appreicate it.
