This KO has been available for a few months now, but I only gave it a shot now when I realized that it's a great deal bigger than the original deluxe figure.

Alt mode is 8 inches long, and bot mode is a smidge above 6 inches from head to toe. It's almost exactly as tall as Battle Blade BB, which dwarves the original deluxe.

This size makes the figure a Voyager by today's standards, and is the perfect size for SS, IMO.

The plastic feels quite good for a KO, though maybe not as good as Hasbro plastic. I really like the figure, I'm glad that I gave it a try.

By the way, the Megs in the last pic is also a KO from the same series. Seems to be the exact same size as the original, Evasion OP's shotgun fits it perfectly.

No problem man. I bought it from a local store, but it turns out Sirtoys is carrying it: Starscream Voyager - TF - SirToys.com

Is that Megatron Takara or Takara legends colours as it's not the same super pale colour as the Hasbro one is... I didn't really fall in love with the Megatron truck so I only ever bothered getting the one type - but I'm still curious. Just as I was curious about the underscale Megatron truck too.

It shows Mechtech Weapons on the box does he come with them and are they 5mm posts or larger (if he does)?

I'm curious as I was wondering if he can except normal 5mm weapons or not.

I hope the maker has enough Transformers nous to want to make all 3 colours... Skywarp and Thundercracker in that size would be grand.

Isn't there an even bigger one and a huge one too though ? Or is this the same ones that used to be sold in that mad 7 pack a couple of years ago ?

It does come with mechtech weapons, scaled up as well so the holes and pegs are more than 5mm wide.

I do think this is the same one that's included in the set I showed you guys a while back.

I'm often mystified by the choices of KO makers they faked (almost perfectly) the Cybertron Starscream Voyager and then only made it in the normal colours - where as there must be demand for the legion figures colours applied to the larger mould.

I would guess you'd need a whole new mould for a bigger F-15 the fragility issues in the wings and tail would be so magnified by the larger size.

I think something that lies between the Deluxe and the Masterpiece would work best - not to complex but not simply as basic as the standard Deluxes are. (I do like them though) this DOTM mould was perhaps better suited to upscaling than some mould might be.

If only they gave that mold a decent paint job though then I would totally on board

Very neat. I always dug the DOTM Deluxe Starscream/Seeker mold. Just wish he had a better deco (or at least a darker gray plastic instead of the too bright off-white). A shame the KO Megs isn't any bigger than his official Voyager figure.
