Damn, I met him at my first TF convention at the Indiana Slagacon (yeah I got into the convention scene a little on the late side.). He was a pretty cool guy, I wish I could have gotten to another Slagacon before it was over. Me and my cousin was there that weekend and we went with everyone who was setting up and had a fun time at Ryan's that night. Terrible news. Condolences to the family.
I made it to all four Slagacons. The second one was the first time I ever set up a booth to sell toys. Actually glad it was a small show, a big one my first time would've overwhelmed me. And of course meeting Buster Jones at the last show. Bummed to hear about this. Praying for his family.
Damn Chad....... RIP, he was a good dude. I didn't realize he was sick until I was talking to Garry Chalk at TFCon. He was a good guy to everyone who met him and tried to do the fandom right thru Slag-A-Con.
Sad news, I hope he's at peace, and my condolences to his friends here and his family outside of the site.
Can we get someone to move this to the news section? Dude knew a lot of folks mad Slag-A-Con was well attended.
I recall that night at Ryan's. You all dared me to eat a pizza/steak sandwich, ended up turning the thing into a video review. It's little things like that I'll miss the most. <3
