This just occurred to me- SkyByte is a deserter, right? Does that mean that he's on "The List" of the Decepticon Justice Division? And if so, I want to see Tarn and SkyByte have a haiku-off. My money's on SkyByte.  

 

Oh I'd love to see Roberts take on SkyByte. It would be the greatest thing ever.

I could see Sky Byte being the better poet, but Tarn would use his magic voice to explode sky byte's spark during his recital

 

Tarn doesn't seem like the haiku kind of guy; it's more nature driven, while Tarn seems to like the more prose-y, occasionally purple sociopolitical type of stuff Megatron was putting out. Neither the natural themes, nor the concisity of haiku seem like his 'thing'.

That said he definitely seems like the type to explode someone's spark in the middle of a poetry-off if he thought he was losing.

 

When I first looked at the tread title, I thought it was about RID Skybite (the cartoon) against the DJD, and said to myself, "That poor guy!"

I'd still feed bad for Skyquake, though. Tarn doesn't strike me as a graceful loser.

 

OH HELL NO. I don't want poor Sky-Byte anywhere near the DJD.   Roberts writing him would be a trip, though.

While IDW Sky-Byte hasn't shown any fighting prowess as of yet (that I know of), I'm quite sure he'd face the DJD unafraid of any punishment they might dole out. I really hope ol' shark face shows up again in the near future.
