    Great stuff!

Really looking forward to see how this develops, honestly it's shaping up to possibly be the best TF comic in years.

Honestly I hope we’ll eventually see DWJ back on art for at least a few arcs now and then but that’s the nature of comics these days. It’s super rare now to get a great artist for a long run on a monthly comic.

It’s nice to see Elita, but Arcee and Wheeljack have been on these covers since issue 1 and I’m not seeing them in the stories. Cautiously optimistic that she actually shows up.

Oh. I just assumed that was Johnson art, but it’s Corona, so we’re looking at a similar style.

No spoilers, since I haven't read the most recent issue. But I'm glad to see this series is gonna have DWJ for more then 6 issues. This new guy seems to be able to replicate his style pretty well, and it's understandable that a guy can only write and draw so many issues at the same time before getting tired out

Hmm, I was really in for DWJ's art, but I'll wait to see more of the new artist's work before making a judgement. It seems similar.

Heck, I still haven't read past issue 1, my LCS really messed up the orders and my pull for it (got #1 a month later, and they gave me Transformers: Last Stand #2 instead of #2... It's been one thing after another)

How are people enjoying this story? As someone who hates post-revolutionaries IDW, and hasn't read much IDW2 but found it okay

Is this any good? Is it worth my time or is it just the Netflix shows in a different format. I.E. recognizable G1 characters on extremely boring adventures meant to sell toys that were on the shelf one year ago

Not familiar with the artist so that always makes me a bit leery, but I'm glad DWJ is sticking around as.writer for now

It might sound cliche but it’s like nothing we’ve had before. So far it’s an action oriented suspense thriller with some bits of gruesome violence. All the characters seem to be reflections of their classic selves but amplified. There are clear good guys, bad guys and humans stuck in the middle trying to figure it out.

The only “flaw” is that the issues feel kinda fast and short but I think that’s appropriate for the intro story we’re being told. If this is a big deal to you though, just collect this is in a paperback collection.

That sounds promising! And exactly what I want in a transformers story

i don't mind the fast pace especially when IDW2 was well known for its very long buildup.

Also anyone know how well these comics are selling? I don't want to invest my time into something that's probably gonna get cancelled in the future due to poor sales.

Jorge Corona looks very consistent with what DWJ was doing. Mike Spicer still being on the colors helps too.

They have sold really well so far. Transformers has been one of the best selling comics in the nation this year.

Yes, but I'm a tiny bit bummed it's not one of the names we had discussed. I'm very much in a weird "you have to prove yourself" mode with Transformers media, especially after IDW

According to ICv2, issue #1 was No. 1 for October: Top 50 Comics - October 2023

Issue #2 was No. 4 for November: Top 50 Comics - November 2023

And issue #3 was No. 3 for December: Top 50 Comics - December 2023

So I guess there's no need to worry about it get cancelled anytime soon.

I read issue four yesterday. This is easily my favorite piece of TF Media.

Very happy to hear that DWJ is staying on the book in some capacity. I'll miss his art but his writing is something that has impressed me. Hope he keeps up the great work for many issues to come.
