Crystal Kane in an Exosuit happened several times in comics and TV. Here are some pictures.

 

Garrett was an evil Exosuit wearer from the comic. He stole a prototype suit and weapons.

 

Appearing several times in the show, the red Traumatizer was the commander of lesser green Traumatizers.

Although the TV show kept it vague by saying "in the near future", I found reference in the UK comic book that Centurions was set in 2087. 100 years from when it was made.
