I recently bought an encore Sky Lynx, having no idea it could walk on his own. So to my amazement I found out you could batteries in him. Upon doing so he walked around my room. I find him greatly entertaining. So anyway the point is, they should make more TFs that walk around and roll around on their own. I mean Sky Lynx is great! And he was made in '86. You would think that for some of the prices we pay for Transformers today, and the technology today's toys have, couldn't they make some Transformers that moved on their own? And not just danced aka Ultimate BB.

Beatmix might dance too, but I was refering to the dancing BB that played music. Ultimate Bumblebee and he was like $80.
Skylynx is a brilliant toy and was hard to find in good working condition until Encore. They reissue him and despite the desirability, here in the UK at least, he is on sale at £29.99 at a load of places who have trouble trying to shift him.
I got the encore version last year and thought it was great. Got Omega Supreme the same week so had them racing eachother lol. Skylynz won. I hope they encore Trypticon soon.
I have to agree, it's the reason I love toys like Star Convoy who can roll wile in vehicle and robot modes. If you like Sky Lynx you should get Encore Omega Supreme if you don't have him already as he walks as well.
I want him, too. just not tops on my budget, sigh. i wish they'd remake him and use this: that is, if they modernize his look at all.
^ haha I agree. More of the newer TFs should have some walking features. Hell, for $100, movie Devastator should combine on his own, walk to the kitchen and make me a sandwich.

I love sky lynx. He was my favorite G1 as a kid. Literally begged my dad on the street corner outside the store for 40 minutes for him to get it for me. Still have it, as well as another original that I use for display, and the reissue which I keep in the box so I can open it every now and then and recall how exciting it was to triumphantly get that Sky Lynx back home after getting my dad to give in.
just paid for a Sky Lynx today. Can't wait to get him....Is he really that awesome? I have Omega Supreme and I love him.
Ultimate Bumblebee doesnt dance lol..... it just plays songs like wip it and other crap. Gah I hated that figure. but I still gotta get my hands on a G1 Sky Lynx
I had no idea he walked as well! I might have to pick up. Though I don't know where I would put him, I don't even have room for poor Sky Lynx here lol. He doesn't even dance? Pfft.
no it does nothing other than stand there/transform and shoot a missile at you when you speak, and it plays music... lots and lots of music. and its too akward to pose and keep it in that pose. and mine broke 15 minutes after opening it
