I'm working on a HO scale 1:87 train layout and am planning on adding some Transformers vehicles. I found a thread stating that certain DOTM Cyberverse Transformers are approx. 1:87 scale. I'm wondering if the Legions Class Generations would be the same?

... depends which figures you're talking about... the Generations and DotM figures with similar alt-modes are roughly the same scale, but with Cyberverse in particular, scale is nearly non-existent.

Oh okay, so the Legion cars would be closer in size to Matchbox then. They'll look to out of place on a HO layout. Thanks.

I guess I'll stick to the specific ones listed as 1:87 on the list on this forum then.

Well, most Legion/Legends figures are somewhere around 3", so to be at 1/87 they'd need to be vehicles that are about 22' (261"), which I don't think leaves a lot of toys. Cars would be too big, military vehicles too small; certain trucks would fit, but not semis like Optimus.
