I think it would be a cool idea.

Edit: I messed up the thread title. The Decepticons should have ''Jurassicons''.

    I'm all for it.

And their leader should have a name that begins with S. I was thinking Skewer. His cohorts can be Growl (Snarl's counterpart), Gunk or Grime (Sludge's), Gash (Slug's counterpart), and Gouge (Swoop's).

Their leader could be a Spinosaurus.

Were you inspired by me in any way? Because I kept insisting on "Jurassicons" when that New Dinobots thread came out. I even said a Spinosaurus would be their version of Grimlock.

The Terrorcons are practically like them, but they're opposite the Technobots. The Insecticons could also be their opposites.

Only makes sense that Slag/Slug's rival have a name that relates to both of his. A slug and a gash are both ways of attacking. A slag and a gash...well...they're connected in another way. ;)

There were Dinocons in Japan, but, outside of SG Goryu, they've seen never representation in the West...well yet, anyway.

I'm assuming that in whatever continuity the Jurassicons would be in, the Dinobots wouldn't have a spinosaurus. No Scorn for them. The original G1 cast for the Bots maybe, Scorn could be a Con. And, to Dragonzzilla, I wasn't really inspired. I was just doing some random thinking and it came into my head while I was messing with leader AOE Grimlock. I never saw your posts about it :lol :

That's just silly. Dinobots for Autobots, Predacons for Decepticons. Let the Dinobots have all dinosaurs, and Predacons have dragons and other fantasy beasts as well as large predators like smilodons and such.

But Predacons are already large predators... And more (in the case of Tantrum and Headstrong).

And the dragons and other fantasy beasts are Terrorcons.

Since seeing Victory, I'd love to see the DinoForce in a US series.

Lose the name Gash. It means something entirely different in some countries.

That's the point. Its perfect for Slag, which means prostitutes.

Gash is Slag's counterpart, and then we can censor it to being Gore, for Slug.

I'd rather the team be based on animals from the Ice age, sorta like Fansproject did.

Because, as we all know from the greatest Batman movie ever made, the Ice age killed the dinosaurs.

    Or Dinobots, as it seems.
