To be honest, I pretty much JUST got into The Transformers. Don't get me wrong, I watched a decent amount of Transformers content growing up and I absolutely loved Prime when I was in my early teens, but for whatever reason I just never dug as deep into TF as I did with other franchises. Then the Bumblebee movie happened and I fell in love with it, thus opening the rabbit hole for me to dive into the rest of the franchise, starting with G1 and working my way up!

I hope you enjoy G1. There's a lot of content for that.

Ohhhh, trust me I did. G1 was so much fun! I loved G1, and thought The Rebirth was a great finale! (I'm not gonna worry about the Japanese G1 sequels right now though, I have enough shows to get through as it is! lol) I actually started watching Beast Wars last week and it is SO good! Great stuff!

    And thank you!

Welcome and enjoy. After you're done with Beast Wars I would strongly recommend the 2001 Transformers Robots in Disguise and then Transformers Prime. Some people liked Beast Machines and the Unicron Trilogy but it wasn't my cup of tea. Then again I loved the Combiner Wars and Power of the Primes mini web series and people hated it.

I plan to watch EVERY Transformers series at some point. I'll defiantly be getting around to RID 2001 and revisiting Prime at some point in the near future! I'll of course check out the Prime Wars trilogy eventually as well.

RID 2001 is a fun ride, and the Prime War Trilogy is available to watch for free on Rooster Teeth.

Transformers Armada was the first series I watched in full when it aired on Toonami. I caught an episode or two of subsequent series, but didn’t consistently watch a show until Transformers Animated. The Transformers (2007) movie was fun, I passed on the rest of Bayverse. I followed Transformers Prime and played the multiplayer Transformers Universe game (TFU; until it got canceled). I bought War for Cybertron (Xbox 360), but did not play the game much. I stuck with Transformers through the MTMTE comic and recently purchased the Humble Bundle, so I can read what else I missed of the IDW releases. The Bumblebee Movie (2018) was enjoyable and I have high hopes for this line of movie-based reboots. I’m hesitant to start the new comic reboot, the reviews haven’t been stellar so far.

Eventually, I plan to watch Beast Wars and Beast Machines. They’re in the queue with Rescue Bots and Transformers Cyberverse. I took a break from television series in general and formed a bad habit of binge watching DVDs. I own a few toys from different lines (animated, masterpiece, prime, generations, etc) and love my Soundwave poster by Laurent Durieux (if only he did a Shockwave as well). I wish TFU would get resurrected as a MOBA style Transformer game is amazing, but they may not happen with the popularity of Battle Royale style or mobile games (*cough*Diablo Immortal).

Good looks man. I've actually been trying to track down the series in it's entirety since most of it was pulled from YouTube.

In the mid nineties I began by watching Beast Wars and have been hooked ever since. I even liked Beast Machines back then.
I was a reverse Geewunner in that "Munky not Truk" was the gospel for me - no cars.
However, it wasn't until the movies that I got back into the brand and fell in love with virtually every aspect of the Transformers, even Bayformers.
I'm excited for the potential the movies have now that Bay has finally said goodbye, looking forward to a Beast Wars movie!

Since G1...Beast wars was my second exposure really though. I fell off for a long while. after that, i got with Prime Wylde and we went from like, four or five bots to a rather sizable collection that we share. I became absolutely addicted with the IDW run...although I do admit, that when I found out it was ending, I haven't been able to bring myself to finish it. I know I need to...but...well...sigh...... Wylde hasn't given me very hopeful reviews of the new stuff...I guess we'll see....anyway, We also started running our own version of a transformers rpg. We created a simple d20 system and stat charts and have been running it for...like eight or nine years now. We have evolved our own insane continuity with dozens and dozens of unique characters....Now I'm customizing figures, basically because Prime Wylde slowly convinced me over the years that I could, and now I'm in love with it...

1996 with Beast Wars. Dinobot grabbed my attention. A transforming robot velociraptor? Bad ass.

Wait, really? Well call me Primal's uncle, that's amazing! I thought I'd have to go on a lengthy search for it. Thanks for the heads-up!
