Did anyone else watch this? I'm not sure if it was a new ep or not but it was the first time I'd seen it.

I laughed my ass off at the jokes, but during the whole episode I couldn't help but think that it was just a rehash and mush together of the episode where Homer got buff and tried to climb the mountain and the episode where Mo convinced Homer to become a boxer.

When are they finally gonna kill this show? It can still be funny but damn it's been going on for so long that it's impossible to get an original episode.

I enjoy the show sometimes but yeah, it may be starting to run its course.

I've only seen an episode here and there since season 8 or so. It's just been total crap since then.

Simpsons is great. Sure, there was a downturn years ago (Season 8-10), but the last few seasons have been awesome. Then again, every episode has at least one joke in there that makes it worth rewatching. However, I must admit, the Halloween episode and the one where Homer questions who his real father is this season were just plain dumb.

My favorite episode from the most recent seasons though is the one where Homer cuts off his thumb and it goes into Bart's Day, Lisa's Day, Homer's Day.

I stopped watching this show years ago. The exact moment I gave up was the episode where sugar was outlawed in Springfield and Homer became a sugar-smuggler. It was funny when Springfield banned alcohol and Homer became the Beer Baron. It wasn't funny a second time.

I'm pretty much the only one that has been enjoying all the seasons of the Simpsons. Perhaps now would be the time for me to give up on the Simpsons, since after watching them for years they have kind of gotten old and feeble, despite the fact they never age.
