    G1 Micromaster Mockup on ebay

A mockup for a Generation One Micromaster has been listed on ebay by renound prototype Transformers seller senuseret72. The mockup is of Whisper (painted silver).

    Taken from the Auction
This auction is for a rare, vintage Transformers mock-up prototype. This piece was created by a Hasbro designer and presented at a line meeting as consideration for a production toy during the early years of the Transformers toy line.

Apparently the designer glued this item and painted it silver as needed for whatever purpose was intended. Entirely hand painted and glued together, this piece represents and early mock up for the vintage Transformers line.

Protoypes and samples for the G1 line rarely surface, Skywarp prototypes and mock-ups surface even less often. This is an excellent opportunity to add a genuine Gen1 prototype to your collection.

Too bad he's glued. Whisper was my favorite jet in his Micromaster team. Still, it's an awesome little piece!

something doesnt seem right about that, a mock up is what comes before virtually everything else, pre-hardcopy and so on. This piece has copyright information stamped on it, looks like a production peice glued and sprayed over, maybe it was a "mock up" of what a silver version would look like....

Added to my watch list just for shiggles. Whisper is the only Micromaster that still remains in my collection. Any others that I had are long lost.

Brick? Whisper may be a little punk but he has as much articulation as any G1 Seeker.
