In Demand toys on Facebook shows some new in package and stock images of the leaders: In Demand Toys Bear with while I mirror pictures
Photos show a silver gun, unlike the red in recent Japanese pictures. It's silver in the package too, you can see the rear at the bottom left, albeit with a red handle, as per rest of the pics.
If you look closely at the picture, you can see the gun is actually molded in red plastic - see inside of the barrel and the 5mm peg handle - so, it's cast in red plastic, painted over silver. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this !
The battle damage on the Magnus mode's chest looks like someone took a silver sharpie and scribbled some lines on it. Not as good looking as the pre-release paint jobs. I want this figure bad, though, so I'll just strip it off. Has anyone stripped the battle damage deco from the Siege figures that are out there yet?
I don't know that you can. The battle damage has already been confirmed to be screen-printed, like the faces on newer Star Wars: The Black Series and MCU-based Marvel Legends figures. It for sure wouldn't be as easy as getting some nail polish remover and a Q-tip and adding elbow grease.
Sexy, ain't he? I like that he appears to take design cues from MP-22 while homaging the oft-forgotten RID Magnus. Still hoping they retool him into a proper Powermaster Prime.
Why? Do you think printed tampos are any different than paint on plastic? Isopropyl alcohol or if need be acetone will take the face off any precious Star Wars princess. It will do the same for battle splatter on these Siege toys.
I still can't get over how overwrought the detailing is on UM. All the basic shapes are terrific, but the millions of panel lines are just killing the vibe for me. I see a ton of lines on Shockwave, too, but either the dark purple hides them way better or there are simply less of them. Either way it doesn't bug me really at all on one while it cancels my purchase entirely on the other.
I\'m still not sure how I feel about the Magnus. It looks like he got into a paint fight and lost. Shockwave looks fantastic.
