Update: 09-11-19 Because why not and also why should Prime have all the fun? Just by popping the pin out you can switch between this and stock more or less on the fly now that you can pull it to swap kits. Update: 03-04-19 Just a small update on Magnus again. I added more imposing toes/feet and bulked them up a bit more at the sacrifice of my old busted up CW Optimus. I need to paint the feet and the plastic sheets I used to attach them and some of the details in the rest of the figure. Also added a comparison pic for his current pic for those of you that asked. Original Post: Hey all, just wanted to share a way to give Ultra Magnus some added height. If you shave off the plastic piece shown (and hopefully much cleaner than how I did it ), it allows for the feet to be positioned higher inside the leg armor. Here's where you can go two ways with this. You could shave off the grey leg hook that helps keep it in place in the leg armor and rely on friction to hold it in place (and reinforce it with clear thin plastic sheets for support). Or you can keep it and make higher holes in the leg armor for the hook to lock onto like the official holes in the leg armor. I opted for the first option as the hook is not needed in alt mode (all the various tabs holds UM well in place without it) and it was the safer bet to me because you'd have to get the measurements exactly right and I didn't want to take the chance of getting it wrong. And here he is after the mod. Just got to do something about that forced toe tilt.
