I think you should lengthen the thighs (and maybe make them less detailed like the cartoon)

I was the first person to "lengthen the thighs" on this guy before it became cool, and folks back then didn't like it much. Anyways, I'm fine with the stock length at this point since I'm not trying to integrate Siege/ER figures with the older chug scale toys anymore. Been there, done that. =)

It's not an upgrade really, I just wanted a bigger toon/MP looking Magnus in bot mode for myself since Earthrise UM didn't go all the way with the look. I don't need to make a transformable version since I've already got the stock armor pieces to handle alt mode.

Seriously, most alt modes aren't the issue for me. I generally like how most of the vehicle modes look from the factory, but the bot modes usually end up not being quite right for my tastes since they're designed to work around the transformation, which is why most things I make focus on the bot mode's aesthetic. The only stuff I'm seeing right now where I feel they really nail both modes is the SS86 line, so I doubt I'll make anything for that line when I pick those up.

Yes and no. The old armor pieces take care of vehicle mode.

 

They look lovely...but could they be made a smidge smaller? the boots i mean. I mean i know they look great, but the feet seem a little too wide. Apologies i dont wanna criticize T_T I love your work but im also being fair with feedback.

 

I don't mind polite feedback. =) that being said, I make things look how I prefer them to. Ideally people see it and get motivated to design and print things the way they prefer.

 

^_^ no worries. If I wasn’t still recovering from my fatigue syndrome (thanks covid) I’d totally order some of the feet.

 

The legs look a damn sight better than the Kingdom UM ones.
