Deleted the pics for my Soundwave thread to just start an ongoing thread for these Siege conversion projects I've been working on. Any b.s. comments and I'll take the thread down because I don't fk with idiots nowadays.

Can't wait to see Soundwave painted up. Seems like it would be too beefy, but it looks great.

Dimensions wise, he's actually almost the same exact width as Netflix Soundwave.

I’m impressed af to see this type of stuff, that soundwave is 100% spot on, and that ironhide I would love to see fully completed, this is gold

I'm as impressed with your work as I am curious about what led to your comments in the first post!

I've gotten a lot of sh*t for the projects and designs I've posted on this forum in the past. At the same time, I've seen my designs and concepts straight up stolen by overseas "upgrade" companies as well. I only post stuff to hopefully motivate people to learn how to design and make their own things when they see what's possible, so I don't really need to hear about someone not "caring for" my designs or not liking what I do. That misses the point of why I share things I'm working on.

That soundwave looks fucking amazing, I love the panels on the inside not outside of the legs, will files become available eventually?

No... I don't share my work because I consider all of my designs as being my own intellectual property.

Interested in seeing if you're able to do something bonkers for the Prowl mould. :p

If I can get my hands on a Siege Prowl for under $30, I'll probably do something with it.

Something odd about how the panels make the inner calves look. They definitely tie the altmode together better, but it's got a bit of a TR PM Prime thing going. There's another figure that comes to mind, but can't quite recall which. Not sure if you're at the limits of what your printer can do or not, but something that folds in to the calf panel, or the button flap might clean it up a bit.

Excited to see what can be done with ol'Ironhide!

I'll be printing it in (hopefully) a close matching blue soon, and I suspect the panel will be less prominent looking. The Netflix Soundwave also has a panel sticking out of its leg in the rear which closes the gap between the main tape deck body and the leg, so it isn't a completely new thing going on. But yeah, the grey makes it more noticeable than it probably will be when everything is blue.

I see it now on Netflix Soundwave, can't unsee it... Excited to see how it looks in blue.

PS: ever notice how grey filaments make those layer lines stick out, even if they're no different than what you'd get with other colours?

Grey allows for details to show through more, that's why test shots for almost every toy are done in grey initially.

In terms of customizers on this board, I'm actually kind of an old dinosaur on TFW at this point... Lol. Feel free to comb through old Radicons posts and see past stuff I've made, although some initial projects when I first started doing TF stuff are pretty embarrassing at this point for me to look back on. I'm still learning new things all the time even now.
