How did you get paint from the tube to stick to plastic?

i read a few threads that said acrylic paint works, like this Introductory: - Paints: Some Recommended Types/Brands

i also had a few plastic model airplanes when i was younger that i painted with Testors, as mentioned in the thread above.

for this project I ordered Master's Touch Acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby. its very thick and tacky, i added a few drops of water to it.

Testors paint works good on model cars so it should work fine. Are you going to clearcoat it once you are done?

not sure about the clearcoat, i'll see how the paint holds up once is completed cured.

    day 2

paint was mostly dry, still some tackiness. finished painting the black. i'll let it cure for 2 or 3 days then put him back together and see how he looks in all black.

I left the ceiling fan on all night and day, paint is mostly dried. Here he is without the purple.

I've been using Tamiya paint with amazing result..

I would suggest that you check if you can use alcohol (just regular pharmacy/first aid stuff) with your paint instead of water. I use 50/50 and it's been great to dilute mine if it gets a bit too dry or for my washes, and it dries within minutes for handling or more coats, and then I leave overnight to be 100% sure it's all dry, but just an hour or two is usually more than enough.

The package says "dilute with water." I looked at other reviews and no mention of diluting with alcohol.

At certain angles and up to about 16" away, you can see the brush strokes as it reflects the light. but generally its not very noticeable.

Here is everything that you (didn't) need to know about "black/green camo seeker". Camo seeker is an unreleased G2 seeker concept.
Here is the mock up from Hasbro:
    0CEE9488-FB77-4DC7-A544-D51FD1CA9521.jpeg

As far as I could find the character had, at some point several different names attached to it. Blackout is one of them and another one is Black Death. The second name also was attached to a black and blue seeker concept (also unproduced). The closest actual character to the concept is Universe and Masterpiece Acid Storm:

But acid storm is alot more green...

I am done now. The black paint on the siege figure looks very good and as was stated before I can't see any brush-strokes! This is gonna look awesome once its done!

Starting with the purple on the arms and legs. Added a little too much water, the paint was a bit thin, this is with 2 coats. I'll probably have to come back and add another coat.

That dark purple actually makes Skywarp look alot more menacing than the usual color scheme. Is there any chance the intakes will be painted darker?

added purple to the edge of the wings.

    added white pinstripes.

    painted turbines dark gray.

seems about as G1 cartoon as I can get him. I don't plan on transforming him, so didn't paint any purple or white on the back of the wings.

gonna let him cure for about 2 weeks.
