Really wish Red Alert had a different head than Sideswipe. But, that Springer\'s exciting; for some reason, it reminds me of the days when there were all those rumours about a a Fall of Cybertron Springer Voyager.

I already knew I wanted Thundercracker sight unseen, Optimus after seeing the video review, but that Springer is so good I can't possibly let that pass me by.

That time when Hasbro's springer is more attractive than the 3P ones.

 

Please tell me that Springer has 2 alt mode, and not some weird heli-car for an alt mode.

 

If anyone is wondering Walmart's database sadly doesn't have a Picture of Springers car mode.

 

Springer and the seekers look great. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on them.

Still intending to pass on prime due to those damn fake wheels (and the other problems), but if I can convince myself to design and print some some upgrades or decide I need the core robot, maybe I’ll change my mind.

Red alert is a maybe, it’s a fun mold.

Blue is like a magic color it seems. Whenever I imagine a cool Transformer, blue immediately comes to mind. Thundercracker truly shows the power of blue (and grey and black...) His deco transformed a toy I am bitingly purchasing into one I actually want to get. Even the terrible Tetrajet manages to not be ugly. Here's hoping that blue can make it look less like he was left in the microwave and for a new head sculpt (I like the idea of each main Seeker having unique head designs.)

That Optimus is still perfection. Future pictures will hopefully be less washed out like TonTon's review was and instead present the colors in a more clean manner. It will make all the difference with this guy, who already has plenty to love. I also like that name... "Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime"... catchy and homage-y.

I was a pretty big fan of the T30 Springer but he didn't always feel like my Springer, not to mention his tabbing issues, but this guy just stands out to me. He has such heroic proportions... head is quite on point... looks to have ankle and wrist articulation... I want my beefy green and yellow bot, okay?

I also think he will look less out of place with Arcee, Hot Rod, Magnus and Kup than T30. Much more blockyness to him that's more congruent with those guy's best recent toys.

Red Alert is probably the most standard of them all, but oh boy does that Sideswipe mold rock the emergency vehicle colors. The light bar suits the space Lamborghini very well. Hell, it makes Sideswipe's look naked.

 

At first I thought "oh, super mode shoulders. Duh", but that would prevent it from transforming properly, so it's not them.

Now, reveal Skywarp so we can have Thew fawn over him!

 

Same first though, they’re missing the details and not split. So def not them.

TC seems like he comes with Caliburst.

This is why I wait patiently for official stuff and not spend more money on third party things. I learned that lesson with Devastator/Hercules...

 

Sweet Christmas... that Springer looks like he\'s going to be exactly what I was hoping he would turn out to be... a G1 cartoon accurate triple changer that is (presumably) in scale with the Takara cartoon accurate Kup, Blurr, Arcee, etc. I\'ve already got sitting in a display.

Well... almost excactly.  I really could do with out the Seige scrape-job paint apps.

Here\'s hoping the bot mode looks as close to the original as possible.  Fingers crossed.

 

Damn, still battle damage. Otherwise I would have bought him. Waiting for a repaint.

 

Heck yes... now that's the bot I wish I could have gotten instead of the original g1 toy. Can't wait to get this guy in hand. Thanks for digging out the image.
