Really hope we someday find out why Prowl and Barricade are from the speed planet.

 

Not bad, seems to be based on Guido's concept for a G1 Barricade at least partially, which is a plus in my book. The other Micromasters are great, just really wish they'd make the entire teams and not just 2 of each, even if it means they'd be split into two parts.

 

That sure is Smokescreen's head there on Barricade.

 

Micromasters look amazing as usual.

I'm actually not that disappointed with Barricade - the real test is going to see if Reprolabels does a proper sticker set to give him a more movie based deco since the Cybertronian block letters on a simple white door here just isn't jiving for me. It just isn't Barricade without 'to punish and enslave...' on the quarter panels.

I disagree - look at where the guns are mounted in vehicle mode. That translates to exactly where they need to be for robot mode. They just don't have them shoulder mounted because Barricade doesn't have shoulder guns.

Ironically, this is a problem for the Race Car Patrol because the leader of that team...was Barricade. Sure, they'll just rename him if they actually do the original G1 Barricade but it's still amusing.

I'm Not surprised by Barricade the Artwork from Paris comic con showed him as a stylized Prowl repaint months ago. I didn't expect him to be so close to Gudio's art though.

The CW mold looks better for the Datsun three imo.

I don't like Prowl, and I don't like Barricade either.

Hnnn.....if I recall correctly, last time Hasbro got too lazy to sculpt a new head for a repaint (Classics Cliffjumper)...3rd party toys happened. I thought they'd learned their lesson by now, lol. (Yes, I know 3rd P existed before then, but there's no denying the Classics Cliffy debacle lit the match that started the modern phenomenon).

Anyways, not at all interested in Barricade, but when they unleash it as Smokescreen, I'm all over it!

 

Really digging Barricade - but I just bought the SS mold & don't really need this version...

 

Barry is a let down. They could at least give him red visor or something.




Or give him WFC/IDW headsculpt

 

Barricade just left my wanted list. Seriously, 0 effort from Hasbro.

 

Glad they went with Powertrain, but I’d have preferred Mudslinger as the other Off-road Patrol member.
