Goal here was to make Sixgun what I feel he should have been, which is a true companion figure to Metroplex that can become his twin guns. In the process I also gave Sixgun lots more possible combinations for random coolness and 2 more big guns to attach to other figures when using his parts that way. What had happen wuz: I cut the butt ends off of two Titans Return Hardhead tank cannons, filled the hollow parts in the remaining back with apoxie-sculpt, drilled a hole in the back of that once it was cured, installed 5mm pegs, then painted them jints. Wah-lah, much bigger barrels for the twin Metroplex guns. I use Maketoys Utopia for my Metroplex because I think he looks light years better in both modes than the Hasbro Metroplex and scales great with Hasbro's excellent Trypticon. My only problem with Utopia was his guns being WAY too huge and no Sixgun, Scamper, and Turd (or whatever their names were). On to how this looks... Here are some of the many aircraft configurations. I drilled 5mm holes in the ends of his bot hands too so he can still form a complete and slightly different, maybe even more streamlined aircraft when the big guns are in use. And here are some ways to pack those big new guns onto bot mode. With Maketoys Utopia And after drilling the barrel holes at the ends of the larger (Hardhead) cannon parts so the small red Sixgun guns can insert into those, then adding a few black accents to make the combined Metroplex guns even more G1-ish, here's my Metroplex (MT Utopia) with his new guns.
(zombie thread warning, i repeat, zombie thread) sorry about that, heh, but apart from the guns (which i assume are Sixgun's legs too?) where else does Sixgun combine with Metroplex?
