Although the Rain Makers are cartoon accurate, I would have liked for Hasbro to add some color to them. I have no connection to Ion Storm since we already have a blue seeker: Thundercracker, but Acid & Nova I've always enjoyed. So, I decided to do some parts swapping and came up with what I had envisioned.

Now I need to sell the original Ion Storm and the Frankenseekers.  

NOTE: If anyone has an extra set of Skywarp guns for sale, please let me know.

Yeah, the Skywarp isn't bad. I kinda of thought about keeping that one.  

 

Definitely improvements for the Rain Makers and the G2-ish Seekers somehow look nice, too.
I want to paint my Acid Storm to make him look like MP Acid Storm but the alt mode will look corroded with an acid pattern or effects. ​

I suggest to just paint their original nullrays and you can even just leave out the indents and grooves for detailing.

 

What a world of difference that part-swapping makes!
I tried mixing the Rainmaker parts up so each one is a mix of yellow, blue, and green, but it didn't work out the way I thought it would. They REALLY need that gray and black.
